Geographic Restriction: This App is intended solely for use by residents of India. We employ technical measures to restrict access to India. We do not knowingly offer goods or services to individuals in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or United States (US). If you access the App from outside India, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with your local laws. We expressly disclaim liability for any non-compliance with foreign laws (such as GDPR or CCPA) for users accessing the App from outside India.

To ensure clarity and transparency, we use the following definitions in this Policy:

2 Information We Collect
We collect different types of information to provide and improve our services. This data is collected either directly from you when you use the App or automatically through your device interactions.
A. Data You Provide Voluntarily
When you create an account or use specific features, you explicitly provide us with:
- Identity Data: Name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and other information related to your identity or different profiles you create.
- Health & Pregnancy Data: Due date, pregnancy week, symptoms, mood logs, baby's growth metrics (weight, height), medical notes, fertility cycle data, last menstrual period (LMP), and other health-related information not limited to this list.
- Child Data: Name, date of birth, gender, allergies, vaccination records, and other child-related information not limited to this list.
- Activity Logs: Medicine logs (names, dosages, schedules), sleep duration, water intake, weight records, and other activity-related information not limited to this list.
- AI Interactions: Full text of conversations with Mama AI, kitchen data (ingredients) entered into the recipe generator, and other interactions not limited to this list.
B. Data Collected Automatically
We automatically collect certain technical data to ensure App security, performance, and analytics:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system (iOS/Android), unique device identifiers (Device ID), and IP address.
- Usage Data: App launch frequency, feature usage patterns, crash logs, and performance metrics.
- Location Data: General location (city/country level) derived from IP address for analytics. We do not track precise GPS location.
3 Mobile App Permissions
To provide full functionality, our mobile app requests certain device permissions. You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings. We only request permissions that are necessary for specific features.
Camera Access
Why we need it: To capture profile pictures and update child/parent avatars in real-time.

- Completely optional - only activated if you sync events
Important Notes:
- You control all permissions: You can revoke any permission at any time via your device settings.
- Core features work without optional permissions: The App remains functional even if you deny optional permissions like Camera or Calendar.
- No background access: We only access these features when you are actively using them in the App.
4 Lawful Basis for Processing
Under applicable data protection laws, we must have a valid legal basis for processing your data. We rely on the following grounds:

AI Personalization & Context
To provide context-aware responses in our AI Chat. We process your profile context through our verification algorithms before transmitting it to AI models.
Analytics & Feature Flags
To understand how users interact with the App, identify bugs, and improve features. We use a "Feature Flag" system to toggle features and collect usage data on feature popularity.
Model Training
By using the App, you consent to us using anonymized, de-identified interaction data to fine-tune our AI models to provide better health insights for all parents.
6 Data Retention Policy
Active Accounts
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active to provide you with continuous service and history.
Deleted Accounts (Grace Period)
Upon your request to delete your account, we retain your data for a grace period of 1 year. This is done for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Preventing fraud and abuse (e.g., preventing banned users from re-registering).
- Maintaining security logs and backups.
- Aggregated analysis for service improvement.
After this 1-year period, your personal data is permanently erased or fully anonymized.
7 Data Sharing & International Transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers ("Processors") who assist us in operating the App.
Shared Data with Partners/Family:
The App allows you to share your profile and health data with other users (e.g., a spouse or partner). By enabling this sharing or linking accounts, you explicitly consent to the shared visibility of your health data with that specific authorized user. It is your sole responsibility to manage who you share your data with. We are not liable for any privacy disputes arising from your voluntary sharing of data with other users.

Security Measures
We implement reasonable security practices and procedures (encryption, access controls) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Important Medical & AI Disclaimer
Not Medical Advice: The App and its AI features are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
AI Limitations: Mama AI utilizes artificial intelligence which may occasionally produce incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading information ("hallucinations"). Do not rely solely on the App for critical health decisions.
Medication Safety: The App DOES NOT verify dosages, drug interactions, or safety. You are SOLELY responsible for medication safety and following your doctor's prescription. We are not liable for missed doses, overdose, or incorrect administration based on App reminders.
Recipe/Food Safety: NutriAI CANNOT guarantee recipes are free from allergens or choking hazards. You MUST verify all ingredients are safe for your child's age and check for allergies.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns. DO NOT use the App or its AI features in an emergency. In case of emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. Kidypulse assumes no liability for any actions taken based on AI-generated information.

12 Governing Law, Arbitration & Indemnification
This Privacy Policy and your use of the App shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Policy or the App shall be settled by binding arbitration in Patna, Bihar, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Class Action Waiver: YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Kidypulse.
User Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kidypulse, its proprietor, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use or misuse of the App, your reliance on any AI-generated content, or your violation of this Policy.
Exclusive Jurisdiction
Subject to the arbitration clause above, you explicitly agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Patna, Bihar, India.
